I have to admit…
I couldn’t watch the end of the game yesterday.
I quit watching somewhere halfway through the 4th quarter after we had to punt again. I started working on a pizza for dinner, and when we started driving and scored, I decided it was best that I stay put until the game was over.
I didn’t want to jinx anything.
I think maybe today I’ll go back and watch the last drive now that I know how it’s going to end.
And I have to say that I’m really proud of the way our team fought back and found a way to win. We hadn’t had to do that this year and an important characteristic of championship teams is to be able to fight back and fight through adversity. And if we want to be a championship team, we needed to be able to do that. (Can you tell I’ve been listening to Coach Saban? I’ve bought in, Coach, I promise I have!!!)
Now, let’s all forget the game yesterday and get our minds right for this coming weekend.
